Reconstitution → Concentration

Example: 5 mg (enter micrograms if labelled that way)
Total final liquid after reconstitution
Concentration: 2.5 mg/mL
Concentration: 2500 mcg/mL
Per 0.1 mL: 0.25 mg
Per 10 units (U‑100): 0.25 mg
Concentration = peptide amount ÷ total volume. U‑100 insulin syringes have 100 “units” per mL.

Dose → Volume / Insulin Units

This calculator converts the dose to mL and to U‑100 “insulin units”.
Most research uses U‑100 syringes; choose U‑40 if applicable.
Volume to draw: 0.1 mL
Insulin units (U‑100): 10 units
Per 1 unit gives: 0.025 mg
Volume (mL) = dose ÷ concentration. Units = mL × syringe scale.

Target Concentration → How Much Diluent?

Example: make it 2.5 mg/mL overall
Accounts for liquid that can’t be drawn back out (mL)
Total final volume: 2 mL
Diluent to add: 2 mL
Check: 2.5 mg/mL target
